New Fall Sunday Morning Classes: 9:10 a.m.
Tim Keller’s Prodigal God Study
“Taking his trademark intellectual approach to understanding Christianity, Timothy Keller uncovers the essential message of Jesus, locked inside his most familiar parable. Within that parable, Jesus reveals God’s prodigal grace toward both the irreligious and the moralistic. This book will challenge both the devout and skeptics to see Christianity in a whole new way.”*
This Sept. 13, our adult Sunday school class will begin a seven-week study using Tim Keller’s video series “The Prodigal God.” Plan to come!
Women’s Ministry Elective
Mama Bear Apologetics
We might be “Mama Bears,” but only Jesus is the Protector of our children. We must trust Him with the hearts of our kids, but we must also obey His command to bring up our children in the Lord. Are you ready? The popular book Mama Bear Apologetics aims to equip mothers to be prepared to recognize and defeat false philosophies that silently seep into our thinking—and our kids’ assumptions about what is true. Order a book. Invite your friends. Be ready for the challenge.

Children’s Choir and Show Me Jesus Sunday School
Our children meet for choir practice at 9:10 a.m. This is a wonderful time of singing together before they go to their classes after about 20 minutes.
Children’s ministry at Evangel Pres includes age-appropriate Sunday school classes meeting immediately following choir practice which use the Great Commission Publications’ Show Me Jesus curriculum. Teachers get to know and love their students personally as they teach them about Jesus and what He has done for them.
Students at Evangel Pres will be invited to join The Prodigal God class on Sunday morning and have their own follow-up discussion.
