And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He
will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.
God Himself will be with them and be their God.”
Revelations 21: 3
Because God has purified us, we are His holy people.

We find our life and family in Him
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. After a little while the world will behold Me no more; but you will behold Me; because I live, you shall live also. In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.”
John 14: 18-21

He completes His work in us
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1: 3-6

God dwells with us
We are His people. We have access to Him at any time we want it. The writer of Hebrews urges us to come boldly before the throne of God. Our problem is, we don’t believe it. We can’t see it. We’re too tied to this earth. If we really believe this, wouldn’t it change our prayer lives? Wouldn’t it change how often we pray, how fervently we pray? It would be natural to turn to prayer first instead of exhausting ourselves in our own effort first. Think about this reality, that we can enter God’s throne room at any time because of Jesus’ shed blood. Think how that should change your view of this life, how it should change your view of heaven. Let it make a difference in your lives.

Teaching us how to live together
So he [Joseph] sent his brothers away, and as they departed, he said to them, “Do not quarrel on the journey.”
Genesis 45: 24

We belong to Him
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
1 Corinthians 6: 19 & 20
